We believe there is no better place for this than working with the community to create positive, self-determined change.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our team members are active at marae across the country, serving as tangata whenua or waewae tapu at marae, hap\u016b and iwi levels. Our skill sets combine tikanga and technological savviness. Korou developed a team of over 30 digital apprentices based in Te Wairoa, the juncture between Te Taira\u0304whiti and Hawke\u2019s Bay. With learnings based on a te ao Ma\u0304ori worldview and in particular the concepts of tuakana and teina, manaakitanga, intergenerational sharing, and amplifying Ma\u0304ori voice by using technology to tell our own stories. The majority (90%) of the staff including apprentices, were Ma\u0304ori.
